Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Central Bank of Uzbekistan authorized the operation of the GlobalPay electronic money system.

“The submitted documents were studied by Global Solutions LLC, which has a license of a payment organization and a notification of the joint-stock commercial bank Alokabank regarding its activities as an issuer of the GlobalPay electronic money system,” the regulator said in a statement.

As a result of the study, in accordance with the requirements of the "Rules for the Issue and Circulation of Electronic Money on the Territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan", the GlobalPay electronic money system is included in the Register of Electronic Money Systems of the Central Bank, thereby allowing the issuance of electronic money.
