Central Asian Industrial Week to kick off in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- International forum Central Asian Industrial Week will be held at the UzExpoCenter in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on 5-7 October 2011.

The forum will unite three international exhibitions - MiningWorld Uzbekistan 2011, Machinery Central Asia 2011 and UzComak 2011.

International exhibition company ITE Uzbekistan, member of UFI, and its partner I.T.E. Exhibitions & Conferences Ltd (Great Britain) are organizers of the forum.

ITE Uzbekistan said that the exhibitions, as tradition, will be held in the same place, which will allow fully use business atmosphere to expand business contacts among representatives of related industries.

Central Asian Industrial Week is important event for economy of Uzbekistan, which stimulates interest of foreign firms to investment potential of Uzbekistan and help local companies to familiarize with achievement of global industry. Along with the exhibition, it is planned to hold seminars, conferences and business meetings. The forum is optimal platform for exchanging business information and establishing new contacts.

The exhibitions will attract over 70 companies from 20 countries of the world. Kazakhstan, Norway and Czech Republic will present their national expositions. Among the participants are companies from Austria, Great Britain, Denmark, Belarus, Germany, Italy, Canada, China, the Netherlands, etc.

The Sixth Uzbek International exhibition MiningWorld Uzbekistan 2011 will present latest development and technologies for mining industry. New ideas and strategies for exploration, mining and enriching natural resources will be useful for all specialists and meet key players of the industry.

Among the participants of the exhibitions are such companies as SANDVIK MINING and CONSTRUCTION (Finland), ATLAS COPCO ROCK DRILLS (Sweden), GRUNDFOS (Austria/Denmark), Rudmash Export (Russia), Gorniyi Mashini (Russia) and others. The Czech Republic and Norway will present their scientific-technical potential for the second year.

The central event of the exhibition will be international conference “Investment potential of solid natural resources of Uzbekistan – Uzgeoinvest”.

The conference is organized by the State Committee of Uzbekistan on geology and mineral resources and ITE Uzbekistan. The event will be held on 6 October 2011.

Within the conference, geology and professionals of mining industry will discuss wide circle of issues, which will related to perspectives of developing international cooperation. The foreign investors will have chance to receive information on investment projects on developing ore and non-ore natural resources, as well as perspectives for holding geological-exploration works.

Issues of improving and building industrial objects, such as roads of national and international purpose, will be main topic of the Third International exhibition Road Building and Municipal Machinery and Equipment – UzComak 2011. The exhibition attracted famous companies despite its being relatively young.

Among participants are AMMANN (Kazakhstan-Germany), Uzbek-Chinese Trade House, CESAN CEVRE SAGLIGI SANAYI LTD. STI. (Turkey), KAZ-CAN CORPORATION (Kazakhstan), TAS (Uzbekistan) and others.

Uzbekistan is carrying out reforms in the sector attracts participants of the exhibition. In line with the plans of the Government of Uzbekistan, it is planned to purchase road construction and repair equipments for US$120 million.

National Road Fund will start financing two projects on purchase of equipment for two subdivisions of Uzavtoyol state joint stock company in 2012. While Fund for Reconstruction and Development will issue over US$68 million to purchase six specialized mobile asphalt carpet complexes in 2012.

Reforms on modernizing industry become stimulus for the participants of the Fourth Central Asian Exhibition - Machinery Central Asia 2011.

Machinery construction is one of traditional industries of economy of Uzbekistan and there are over 400 machinery construction and metal processing enterprises. Development of such industries as automobile, textile and processing industries started to require innovative and mobile production capacities, and implementation of new projects.

For last four years, the exhibition serves as platform for discussion of long-term projects. Among participant of the exhibition are National stand of Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan is currently is the second trade partner of Uzbekistan with the share of 9.5%. Trade turnover between two states hit US$1.148 billion in the first half of 2011, which grew by 55.6% year-on-year.

Among participants are ZHERSU POWER, Minova-Kazakhstan, Kentauskiy Transformatirniy Zavod, Munay Ospal, Belkamit, etc. Among debutants are Alfa Laval Potok (Russi) and TELESIS B.V. (Netherlands).

ITE Uzbekistan underlined that Central Asian Industrial Week will become one of tools for strengthening material-technical base of industry in Uzbekistan and center for industrial development of all region.
