Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A series of family and children’s master classes developed by the for Culture and Art Development Foundation under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan jointly with the Moscow Garage Museum of Contemporary Art will be held within the framework of familiarization with the activities of the future Center for Contemporary Art.
The workshops will start from 13 April and will operate at the Center’s site until 1 June. All sessions will be held in two formats: open family workshops and workshops for fixed groups from kindergartens and schools upon prior request.
Open family workshops will be held 2 times a day on weekends. Every weekend for classes will be offered its own topic. The workshop will be available for visiting children from 5 to 14 years old with accompanying. Groups will be made up of 30 members.
Workshops for fixed groups will be held on weekdays by prior request from schools and kindergartens in the city of Tashkent. Day and time will be pre-negotiated with the organizers. Groups will also be grouped in the amount of 30 participants. A series of family workshops from the exhibition artist and director - Saodat Ismailova.
On 18 April, Saodat Ismailova, the author of the exhibition “Qo’rg’on chiroq”, will hold a series of interactive workshops for children from 5 to 7 years old and their parents. After the excursion and conversation all the participants will start the creative work. Workshops will be directed to joint family work, where parents and children will work in the same team.
