The Uzbek side provided information on preparation and organization of the elections of the President of Uzbekistan, which will be held on 4 December 2016. The Japanese diplomat received information on changes to electoral legislation.

During the meeting, it was said that missions of five international organizations and observers from over 0 foreign states, including Japan, were invited to observe the presidential elections.

The sides exchanged opinion on other issues of mutual interest.
