Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 16 April, a meeting of the delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan with representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania took place in Bucharest.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of trade, economic and investment relations between Uzbekistan and Romania, as well as prospects for cooperation in various fields.

The rapidly developing production sector in Uzbekistan, especially the beekeeping sector, aroused great interest of the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In this regard, it was decided to organize a joint “Honey Studio” in Uzbekistan with the aim of exchanging experience and reforming the methodology of Uzbek and Romanian honey entrepreneurs.

The parties considered the issue of exporting honey from Uzbekistan under prestigious brands by order of Romania, given the high demand for high-quality honey in the European market.

In addition, the parties discussed plans to organize visits, business forums, B2B negotiations, exhibitions and fairs, as well as the creation of trading houses for the participation of business circles of both countries.

As a result of the meeting, a delegation of Uzbek businessmen was invited to participate in the Indagra Food 2024 exhibition, which will be held in Romania in October this year.
