The document was inked within the visit of the Indian business delegation led by the President of Arun K. Agarwal to Uzbekistan.

The visit, which took place on 9-12 February, was organized by the CCI and the ASSOCHAM at the support of the Indian Embassy in Uzbekistan.

The delegation included eight Indian companies, operating in production of modern laboratories, road construction, processing industry, engineering, export-import, agriculture equipment, etc.

On 9 February, the delegation visited the CCI and the sides discussed current affairs and perspectives of bilateral cooperation.

On 11 February, the business circles of Uzbekistan and India participated at the business negotiations and discussed establishment of direct business contacts with foreign partners and export of products.

Indian companies presented information about their activities, plans on developing their businesses in Uzbekistan and Central Asia.

Indian delegation held negotiations with representatives of Uzbekenergo, Uzbekneftegaz, Uzbekyengilsanoat, Uzfarmsanoat, Uzavtosanoat and Uzbekturizm.

After the talks, the sides agreed to continue to exchange opinions at the working level.
