The given training was organized by the joint project of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the United Nations Development Programme “Support to Microfinance Sector Development”, in partnership with GTZ “Assistance to Microfinance Sector Development in Central Asia” project, Microfinance Center of Central and Eastern Europe and CIS.

The training was aimed at familiarizing Central Bank employees, engaged in regulating microfinancing institutes, with tools on assessment of social impact of microfinancing institutes, submitting reports on social impact in line with standards, approved by international communication of microfinance organizations. The training was directed at raising awareness of participants on monitoring and assessing microfinance institutes and industry as a whole.

The seminar shared information on concept of social impact, developed tools on support of social impact management and participants learnt about report formats, etc.
