The statement of the regulator said that the Board of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan adopted decision to keep the refinancing rate at the level of 9% APR.

The decision was adopted in line with tasks, determined in main directions of monetary policy for 2015 and taking into account actual and expected level of inflation for this year, the statement reads.

Central Bank of Uzbekistan cut the refinancing rate by 1 percentage point to 9% APR from 1 January 2015.
