Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Within the framework of technical support with experts from the International Monetary Fund, the Central bank held final discussions on the results of the mission "Improving external sector statistics of Uzbekistan".

At the meeting, it was noted that the Central Bank's efforts to improve external sector statistics as part of technical assistance are bearing positive results.

Also, the measures to be implemented in the direction of the formation of indicators of the balance of payments and international investment position were discussed.

At the meeting, it was emphasized that the recommendations presented by international experts are of great importance in the Central Bank's activities, and both parties stated that they will continue cooperation in the direction of improving external sector statistics.
