Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 14 February, a meeting was held at the Central Bank with representatives of the World Bank’s International Finance Corporation.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the regulation of the activities of payment system operators and payment organizations, digitalization of banking services and the provision of individual banking services through a network of banking agents in accordance with the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Payments and Payment Services”.

The International Finance Corporation expressed its willingness to cooperate and attract international experts in the development by the Central Bank of by-laws and regulations in this area.
