Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan with representatives of the German Sparkassenstiftung for International Cooperation.

During the meeting, issues of strengthening joint cooperation and implementing projects aimed at creating a reliable financing system that meets all international standards were discussed.

An exchange of views also took place on the long-term plans of the Central Bank in the field of protecting the rights of consumers of financial services.

In particular, in order to improve the skills of the Central Bank employees, attention was paid to familiarizing with the best foreign practices, including those of Germany in implementing the principles of responsible lending in credit institutions and creating an alternative dispute resolution body in the financial sector.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on further expanding mutual cooperation and joint implementation of promising projects in the field of protecting the rights of consumers of financial services.
