Caspian Cup: Uzbekistan beats Jordan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan U-16 defeated Jordan in an opening match of the Caspian Cup-2013, which is taking place in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Timur Alimjodjaev scored seven goals against Jordan and did not concede any goal, Uzbekistan Football Federation said.

Uzbekistan will face Turkey in the second match of the Group on 1 June 2013, which beat Jordan with the score 4-0.

Traditional tournament Caspian Cup is held in Baku from 29 May to 6 June 2013. Twelve teams U-17 are participating at the tournament.
