Carlsberg Uzbekistan, Uzbek university to train specialists
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Carlsberg Uzbekistan and Tashkent Chemical Technological Institute (TCTI) signed agreement on cooperation to establish joint production center.

The center will train specialists for food industry specialists of Uzbekistan. The agreement also envisages the development on a wide range of perspectives such as scientific research, introduction of latest achievements and organization of library fund.

The sides also agreed to to create conditions for training of experts with high education on the basis of integration of education, science and production; the support of talented students and granting scholarships within framework of separate agreement of sides, organization of TCTI students practice at Carlsberg Uzbekistan.

The sides will prepare a number of textbooks, learning materials and methodologies and other scientific literature for publishing. The company already noted three most talented TCTI students by granting scholarships in September 2010.

Evgeniy Shevchenko, General Director of Carlsberg Uzbekistan, stated: “This agreement is an important step in preparation of young experts, contribution to the development of scientific potential of this branch and the production. We are sure that our cooperation with TCTI is mutually beneficial and fruitful process."

“In the nearest future the students of senior courses of our university will be attending the learning center at Carlsberg Uzbekistan twice a week, there they will have a change to strengthen their theoretical knowledge and get practical skills. This is a bright illustration of integration of scientific knowledge and production within the framework of the program "Year of Harmonically Developed Generation". We also plan to implement a range of joint scientific research projects,” commented Professor Sadriddin Turobjonov, rector of TCTI.
