Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The opening of the "Caravan Info" news agency’s correspondent office in Tashkent marks a significant step toward strengthening information cooperation between Russia and Central Asian countries, while providing a platform for covering regional developments.
The inauguration, held ahead of Uzbekistan’s Constitution Day on December 8, coincided with a roundtable discussion on the topic "The Role of Uzbek Women in Personal Development."
In her address, the editor-in-chief of "Caravan Info," Damila Tasmagambetova, emphasized the importance of the family as a cornerstone of social and spiritual security, essential for building a stable society in Central Asia.
"Tashkent, as a new hub for disseminating information, enables deeper awareness of these aspects, promoting integration of the values and ideals discussed in the region," she stated.
The event welcomed notable guests and speakers, including Yakho Ziyaev, renowned oncologist and co-founder of Uzbekistan’s first children’s hospice Taskin; Tolonbay Kurbanov, a member of Uzbekistan’s Journalists’ Union and expert in international relations; Anastasia Trusova, Operations Director of the marketing communications agency What I.F; and Meyerbek Ergashev, senior specialist at the SCO Center for Public Diplomacy in Uzbekistan, among others.
Speakers highlighted the event’s role in informing the public, promoting family and societal values, and fostering understanding of socio-economic and cultural processes, thereby attracting international attention.
"Caravan Info" actively informs the Central Asian audience about key regional and global events, while supporting cultural and economic cooperation. It also focuses on advancements in science, education, tourism, and sports.
