Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Government Resolution approved the Regulations on the procedure for training candidates for the position of director of state educational institutions in management training courses and issuing them a management certificate.

According to the Resolution, from 1 January 2024, at the National Research Institute for Professional Development and Training of Teachers in New Methodologies named after A. Avloni, a system will be introduced for training candidates for the position of school director in management training courses and electronically issuing management certificates to them through a special portal.

According to the Regulations, schools are required to obtain a management certificate every 5 years for existing principals.

At the same time, directors who have a certificate are exempt from taking advanced training courses for 3 years after receiving it.

Candidates undergo electronic registration through a special portal and submit applications for training courses.

Applications are accepted until the 5th day of each month (except July - August).

Training courses are organized in academic groups of 20-30 students.

The duration of the training courses is 144 hours, the training lasts 1 month.

Based on the voluntary selection of candidates, training courses can be organized with or without work (distance, online).

Candidates who successfully complete the training courses take final tests to receive certificates.

During the training period, directors retain their position at their main place of work and the current average salary.

This procedure does not apply to:

- Presidential, creative and specialized schools;

- specialized educational institutions for children with physical, mental, sensory or mental disabilities;

- specialized state educational institutions of sanatorium type;

- specialized boarding schools and specialized schools;

- specialized schools for children who need special conditions of care, upbringing and education.

From 1 September 2024, the following management employees with a management certificate will receive additional monthly salary increases during the validity period of this certificate:

school directors - 50 percent;

deputy school principals - 30 percent.
