Cameras to record new types of violations soon

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The system of recording violations of road traffic rules will start to record new violations of road traffic rules, Major Alisher Abdukodirov, Inspector of the Public Relations and Mass Media of the Main Department of the Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent said.

Currently, video surveillance cameras record two types of rules’ violation – passing in the red traffic light and speeding.

He said that soon the cameras will record such violations of traffic rules as talking on mobile phone while driving and riding without safety belt. Currently, these violations are recorded by inspectors, he said.
