Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 1 December, cameras began to function in Tashkent, designed to record violations on lanes “A” intended for the movement of buses and minibuses. This was reported by the Road Safety Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.

Drivers of vehicles violating traffic rules on special lanes will be fined. Fines will be issued for stopping, moving and other violations in bus lanes.

According to the Traffic Rules, drivers have the right to enter special lanes only when turning right, as well as to pick up and unload passengers.

The amount of the fine for violating the rules on special lanes is 0.5 basic calculated values (170 thousand soums) for driving and 2 basic estimated values (680,000 soums) for stopping.
