Over 200 companies from 50 companies are participating at the forum. Among participants are 70 people from 28 Korean companies, which are suppliers of General Motors (GM). The Korean delegation is led by president of KOTRA Cho Hwan-Eik.

The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), General Motors International Operations and the assistance of the Government of Uzbekistan, organized the business forum.

Representatives of Finance Ministry, Economy Ministry, Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade Ministry, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Uzavtosanoat, Uzeltekhsanoat, agriculture machinery, chemical, oil and gas and other industries are participating in the forum.

Within the business forum, the Uzbek side held presentations of investment climate, development of automobile industry, etc. Turin Polytechnic University is hosting cooperation exchange of Korean spare parts producers.

It is also planned that the Uzbek and Korean companies will hold bilateral meetings to discuss cooperation and implementation of joint projects. Korean companies will participate production capacities of GM Uzbekistan, and enterprises in Andijan region.

It is planned that the sides will reach several agreements on organization of joint enterprises. It is expected that Uzavtosanoat and Erae cs (Korea) will sign agreement on creating joint venture on production of heat exchanging systems.
