The delegation included representatives of over 15 businesses of Poland and was led by Deputy Minister of Economy Andzrej Dych.
The event is aimed at improving cooperation between Uzbekistan and Poland and their business circles in such areas as agriculture, packing food products, production of spare parts for agriculture, etc.
The delegation will also visit Ferghana Valley and attend a business-forum “Investment potential of Ferghana Valley”, which will be held in Ferghana city.
At the cooperation, the sides considered priority tasks in expanding trade and investment cooperation, etc.
At the end of the event, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and Agency for Entrepreneurship Development of Poland signed a memorandum on further development of cooperation.
According to the official data, trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Poland made up US$144.1 million. Currently, there are 19 enterprises with Polish capital, including five with 100% foreign capital.
