Business Activity Index is prepared on the result of survey of 50 large and medium organizations of industry and service sector, representing fast growing directions of economy and sensible to changes in global and local markets.

Business Activity Index developed on PMI methodology. If PMI index is higher than 50, the business activity growth is observed, otherwise - recession.

Business Activity Index in industry sector for March comprised 61.9 points, or increased by 3.3 points compared to February. In February, index made up 58.6. In service sector, the index grew by 6.3 points to 63.2. The February index for service was 56.9.

Final results of Business Activity Index are fully based on answers of the respondents. The Center receives answers directly from responders. The selection of the companies is regular.
