The Karshi side entered the home match with three consecutive wins but fell behind to an Olim Novkarov strike eight minutes into the second half.

Oleg Melnik drew Nasaf level with 16 minutes remaining but the home side were unable to find a winner as they slipped into a tie for second place with Sogdiana and Almalik on 10 points.

Sogdiana came from behind twice against bottom side Bukhara with Davron Fayziev netting the winner with his second goal of the match five minutes from time in a 3-2 victory.

Meanwhile, Sobir Usmanhodjaev netted the only goal in the final minute to give Almalik a 1-0 away win at Qyzylqum.

Khorezm missed a chance to move up to second after suffering their first loss of the season to Neftchi, who got goals from Sherzod Hakimov and Alisher Halikov in a 2-0 win.

In other games on Saturday, Dynamo moved off the foot of the table after downing Shurtan 2-1 for their first win of the season while Metallurg and Andijan played out a 2-2 draw.

On Sunday, Bunyodkor defeated Mashal thanks to goals of Rivaldo (34 minute, penalty), Shavkat Salomov (55) and Server Djeparov (90+3).

Midfielders Stanislav Andreev and Odil Akhmedov were on target for Pakhtakor in the match against Navbakhor. Mahmudov scored a consolidation goal for Namangan side.
