The festival is held to promote Bukhara’s tourism opportunities, develop and preserve a rich cultural heritage, traditions and customs, as well as national crafts.

Handicraftsmen, non-governmental and non-profit organizations supporting artisan activity will take part in the festival.

Within the framework of the festival there will be a competition "Palov Saili". Famous chefs of the region will cook pilafs.
