Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Law enforcement agencies of Uzbekistan detained Shukhrat Kudratullaev, the brother of Bakhtiyor Kudratullaev or “Bakhti Tashkentsky,” who was wanted on charges of extortion, Kun.uz reported.

Shukhrat Kudratullayev previously hid from the investigation as part of a criminal case under Article 165 (extortion) of the Criminal Code.

Khusan Isomiddinov and Feruz Vapayev are wanted in this case as well.

Previously, the son of Bakhti of Tashkent, Ikhtiyor Kudratullayev, was arrested as part of a criminal case of extortion.

At the beginning of December 2023, “Bakhti Tashkentsky” was arrested, who is accused of serious crimes, such as extortion on a particularly large scale in accordance with Part 3 of Article 165 of the Criminal Code, as well as illegal production, acquisition, storage and other actions with narcotic drugs and their analogues or psychotropic substances without the purpose of selling on a large scale, in accordance with Part 2 of Article 276 of the Criminal Code.
