British painter Annya Sand to present her works in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Famous young British painter Annya Sand will present her works in Tashkent within the Art Week Style.uz-2012, which will be held from 30 September to 9 October 2012.

The exhibition “Abstract thinking” will present 17 paintings, which were painted from 2007 to 2011. The exhibition will be held at Uzbekistan Fine Arts Gallery.

As tradition, the Art Week Style.uz-2012 will present its exhibition space for famous and young painters, which will allow them to present their works, exchange experience and inspire them.

Annya Sand already presented her works within the Sixth Tashkent international contemporary art biennale of the Art Week Style.uz-2011. But she will visit Uzbekistan for the first time.

During her visit, Ms Sand will visit Samarkand to familiarize with traditional ornaments of architecture and she plans create series of paintings with ornaments of Central Asia, including Samarkand.

Art Week Style.uz will also host the Sixth Tashkent international photo biennale, which will attended by 200 photographers from 35 countries. They will present 1,500 works. The biennale will be held in Tashkent and Samarkand on 4-9 October 2012.

Art Week Style.uz-2012 will also present exhibition of Oganesa Tetevosyan, photo exhibitions, contemporary art exhibitions, etc.
