The master classes were held at the Uzbek State Institute of Art and Culture and directed to improve actor performance and scene speech.

The master classes are aimed at training young specialists in theatric art and provide them opportunity to participate in national and international projects and festivals.

About 30 students and 15 teachers of the Uzbek State Institute of Art and Culture participated in the master classes and prepared their own interpretation of one of monologues or sonnets of William Shakespeare in Uzbek, Russia and English.

British Council invited British trainers, who are assisting the Uzbek colleagues to improve their skills. The British experts also organized master classes for actors of Uzbekistan Youth theatre and Diydor Theatre-Studio.
