Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The bridge connecting Babur Street with Tashkent International Airport is temporarily closed to vehicular traffic.

According to the capital’s transport department, the decision was made due to ongoing repair works.

Passenger buses are being rerouted in both directions along the new section of the overpass. The changes have affected ten bus routes.

There is currently no information on the timeline for the completion of the repair works and the reopening of the bridge to vehicles.
