Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 23 September 2024, during a regular plenary session of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, deputies considered the candidacy of Botir Zokhidov for the position of Minister of Employment and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the session, Botir Zokhidov presented his action program aimed at reducing poverty and enhancing the effectiveness of employment reforms.
The deputies approved Botir Zokhidov’s candidacy for the post of Minister of Employment and Poverty Reduction.
Since 2022, Botir Zokhidov has served as the khokim (governor) of the Shaykhontahur district in Tashkent. He will succeed Bekhzod Museyev as Minister of Employment and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
