BOMCA announces a drawing contest among school children
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- EC-UNDP Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA) to encourage creative children to develop their talents announces a drawing contest among school children in Tashkent city for the best drawings on “Border Guards at Work”. Drawings submitted to the contest should demonstrate border guards staff performing their services at everyday activities.

The drawings contest runs from 12 March 2013 to 12 April 2013. All school children of the age group 11-14 years old residing in Tashkent city are invited to take part.

Drawings submitted to the contest should:

- be drawn without help from parents and teachers;
- be painted in watercolors, gouache paints, soft-tip pens, or pencils on paper (size of paper should be 21 cm X 29,5cm minimum OR 29,5 cm X 42 cm);
- contain full name, school, class/grade, contact telephone;
- be submitted to BOMCA office in Uzbekistan not later than 17:00 on 12 April 2013 at the address: Tashkent, Makhmood Torobi Street, 14.

The most artistic drawings will be selected by a jury board consisting of the EU, UNDP and BOMCA representatives, as well as National counterparts from the Uzbekistan Government.

Prizes in each category will include: I prize - Notebook, II prize - Tablet PC, and III prizes - mobile telephone.

Winners will be awarded at the ceremony on 23 April 2013 - BOMCA’s tenth anniversary date.

By submitting drawings to this contest, participants transfer copyright for further use of these photos to EU-UNDP BOMCA Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA).
