Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbek athlete Bobur Omonov has become a two-time Paralympic champion.

Omonov won the men’s shot put event in the F41 category of para-athletics at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

Omonov achieved a result of 14.32 meters, which not only earned him the gold medal but also allowed him to break his own Paralympic Games record set in 2021 in Tokyo.

At the previous Paralympic Games in 2020 in Tokyo, Bobur Omonov also claimed the champion title.
