Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Bobir Abubakirov has been appointed the Khakim of the Shaykhontohur district of Tashkent.

Bobir Abubakirov was born in 1983 in Tashkent region.

He holds a higher education degree, having graduated from Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies in 2004 with a specialization in "International Economic Relations," and from the Japan International University in 2015 with a degree in "International Economics."

Since 2019, he has served as the Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In this position, he will succeed Botir Zokhidov, who was previously appointed as the Minister of Employment and Poverty Reduction.
