Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In our country, the attention paid to the development of Olympic sports is increasing every day. Despite the fact that now the whole world is going through difficult times, our government supports major sports projects in order to popularize sports.

Currently, construction of the BMX track has begun in Jizzakh region, which is one of the areas included in the program of the Olympics. Now the khokimiyat of Jizzakh region and the leadership of the cycling federation of Uzbekistan are carefully studying the territory where the track will be built. It should be noted that the initiator of the project is the regional khokimiyat.

BMX is one of the new sports in which participants start in groups and compete in short distances with obstacles. Since 2008, this direction has been included in the program of the Olympic Games.

The route will be designed by specialists from Ukraine, France and Belgium, and special experts will carefully monitor the construction process (after the opening of international flights). According to preliminary calculations, the route is planned to open in September this year.
