Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Two new companies under the BMB Holding group have commenced operations in Jizzakh region, the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan said.
The BMB Agro Plus production facility and the BMB Impex logistics company are located in Sharaf-Rashidov district. In November 2023, the first phase of the agrilogistics complex BMB-NRC was launched, marking the beginning of a new phase in the development of the region’s agricultural infrastructure.
The construction of BMB Agro Plus was financed by Uzpromstroybank and cost US$34.6 million. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery from Austria, Belgium, Italy, China, and Turkey, ensuring high product quality and compliance with international standards.
Annually, the complex will be able to process over 40,000 tons of fruit and vegetable products. It has the capacity to produce 12,500 tons of dried fruits and vegetables, as well as 5,000 tons of raw materials for puree, jam, and paste.
In the second phase of development, lines for freeze-drying and shock-freezing with a capacity of up to 1,500 tons per year are planned. The complex will also handle sorting of up to 50,000 tons of legumes.
