Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 6 February, religious blogger Abror Abduazimov, known as Abror Mukhtor Aliy, was arrested in Tashkent as part of an administrative case.

The Shaykhantakhur District Court decided to arrest him for 15 days under Articles 194 and 195 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility for failure to comply with the legal demands of internal affairs officers and opposition to the performance of official duty.

Abduazimov and another citizen caused a scandal in the khokimiyat of the Shaykhantakhur district by not complying with the demands of the police officers.

At the trial, the blogger expressed regret and asked to commute the punishment.
