Blatter, Platini and Valcke banned for 90 days
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- FIFA’s Independent Ethics Committee on Thursday adopted a decision to suspend FIFA President Sepp Blatter for 90 days.

Blatter was prohibited from representing the FIFA, act on behalf of FIFA, also communicate with media and other interested parties as FIFA official. Senior Vice President of FIFA Issa Hayatou will serve as acting president of FIFA.

The Ethics Committee also suspended FIFA Vice President and UEFA President Michel Platini and Secretary General Jerome Valcke.

The Swiss authorities launched a criminal case on 25 September against Blatter on suspicion of criminal negligence and embezzlement, also signing unprofitable contract with Caribbean football union.

In addition Blatter is suspected of illegal transfer of 2 million Swiss francs to UEFA president Michael Platini. Frenchman claims that this transfer was made in line with the contract and the law.

In September, Valcke was relieved of his position in FIFA, after Brazilian media reported about illegal ticket selling schemes during the World Cup in 2014. Valcke took part in the scheme and earned 2 million euro on it.
