BIOT-2022: important for business

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In the context of modern globalization and the rapid development of industry, labor protection of workers at enterprises and the creation of comfortable and safe working conditions for them is a priority.

The international exhibition BIOT-2022, which takes place in Moscow, presents new developments and innovative ideas specifically in the field of labor protection. The Expo, organized for the 26th time, is attended by more than 20 enterprises that are members of the Uzcharmsanoat Association. About 300 types of personal protective equipment and samples of special footwear were presented at the stand of Uzbekistan.

On the first day of the exhibition, the leadership of the Uzcharmsanoat Association took part in a number of negotiations and ceremonies of signing new mutually beneficial agreements.

During the dialogue with the Council of Russian Textile and Light Industry Producers, an exchange of views took place on the further expansion of bilateral cooperation and the development of cooperation. As a result, a corresponding memorandum was signed.

During negotiations with the Association of Personal Protective Equipment, an agreement was reached on establishing export-import relations with Uzbek enterprises and implementing new joint projects. Joint plans for the future are also supported by a memorandum of cooperation.

In addition, a memorandum of cooperation was signed with Moscow State University. The document confirmed the intentions of the parties to implement joint educational programs.

On the margins of the Expo, a number of successful negotiations with Russian partners were also held by domestic enterprises. In general, on the first day of the exhibition, export deals worth $17 million were concluded.

The international exhibition BIOT-2022 will last until 9 December  inclusive.
