Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan plans to launch a service for the delivery of biometric passports for foreign travel via postal service.
According to a Presidential resolution, amendments and additions have been made to the regulatory framework regarding the redistribution of state fees charged for the issuance of biometric passports. It is also stipulated that passports for foreign travel can be delivered to recipients by postal service, making the service more accessible.
Additionally, when issuing biometric passports for minors, a warning will be given to parents, guardians, or accompanying persons about their responsibility for leaving the child unattended in a foreign country.
