Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 23 October , the Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with executives from Biologic International, Keshav Rajpal and Tomas Kapela.

During the discussion, key stages of the joint project for the production of biofuel, biofertilizers, and food ingredients were reviewed.

Each stage of the project involves active participation from local suppliers of products and services, ensuring significant engagement of small and medium-sized enterprises in the country.

Company representatives shared the results of their introductory visit to Kokand, where they toured the technopark under development and assessed the availability of infrastructure and utilities for more efficient organization of production activities in the subsequent phases of the project.

The company management confirmed their commitment to high standards of a circular economy and low carbon emissions, aligning with Uzbekistan’s environmental goals. This project is expected to be pivotal in supporting the country’s transition to sustainable and renewable energy sources.
