Binance suspends P2P trading in Uzbek soums
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has temporarily suspended its peer-to-peer (P2P) trading service for users in Uzbekistan.
Starting from 26 May 2025, at 19:00 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), Binance P2P will no longer support the Uzbek soums (UZS) and the following trading pairs: USDT/UZS, USDC/UZS, BTC/UZS, FDUSD/UZS, BNB/UZS, and ETH/UZS.
Shortly after disabling these pairs, Binance plans to resume transactions involving the national currency via fiat channels that support the HUMO payment system.
It is worth recalling that since January of this year, residents of Uzbekistan have been officially able to access Binance services through the joint platform coinpay.uz/binance. All transactions conducted through this service are fully legal and securely protected.
