Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - An article entitled “Best Destinations for Traveling Next Year” has been published on the online platform of the popular German publication “Bild”. The material is dedicated to the annual rating “Best in Travel” of the publishing house “Lonely Planet” - the leader in the production of guidebooks.

Each of the areas included in the rating was evaluated by experts on the basis of factors of the relevance of the place and the uniqueness of the impressions that it causes tourists, as well as the so-called wow factor - the instant attractiveness of the place and its ability to cause surprise and interest in the first seconds.

The authors of the material posed the questions “Where should you go in 2020?”, “What are the best destinations that will become a trend next year?” And “Where should you go again?”.

In the nomination “Regions and value for money”, the first place in the ranking was taken by the part of the Great Silk Road, which passes through Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

“This region, once enriched by world trade and travelers, was again in the center of world attention. It has become much more accessible: this applies to visa regimes, and air connections, and infrastructure,” the statement said.

It should be noted that, having headed the Best in Travel rating, the direction of the Great Silk Road exceeded such world famous tourist routes as Italian Tuscany, the Japanese region of Tohoku, the American state of Maine, the volcanic island of Lord Howe in Australia and many others.
