Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan will increase purchases of Belarusian leather goods and finished leather products. This became known following a visit to the country by a Bellegprom delegation headed by the concern's deputy chairman Maxim Bukhal, BelTA informs.

“At a meeting with the head of the Uzcharmsanoat association Fakhriddin Boboev, key areas of cooperation in the leather industry of the two countries were identified. I am sure that we can be useful to each other in the exchange of experience and best practices. Uzbek colleagues are very interested in the supply of both leather goods and finished products of our leading manufacturer of leather goods - the company "Galanteya", - said Maxim Bukhal.

During the visit, representatives of Bellegprom met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Uzbekistan Leonid Marinich, held talks with the leadership of the Department of External Labor Migration of Uzbekistan on attracting labor resources to Belarusian light industry enterprises, visited the international exhibition UzCharmExpo - ShoesStar EurAsia - 2023, and also got acquainted with tanneries and an enterprise for advanced processing of leather production waste.
