UzA reported that the delegation participated at the international conference "Fostering a Well Educated and Intellectually Advanced Generation – Critical Prerequisite for Sustainable Development and Modernization of Country".

During the visit, the Belgian delegation met with the deputy speaker of Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan and chairperson of the Committee on environment affairs Bori Alihonov.

During the talks, the sides underlined that the relations between Uzbekistan and Belgium is developing in many areas. Uzbekistan pays great attention to strengthening of international cooperation in environment protection and rational use of natural resources.

At the meeting, the sides exchanged opinion on issues of development relations between two states in ecology sector.

The Belgian delegation also held meetings at the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Management, State Committee of Uzbekistan on Nature Protection.
