Beeline’s total operational revenue hits US$676m in 2013
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Total operational revenue of the largest communication operator of Uzbekistan, Beeline, made up US$676 million in 2013, which rose by 46% year-on-year.

At the same time, total operational revenue grew by 11% year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2013 to US$176 million, one of the largest providers of telecommunication services Vimpelcom (Beeline trademark) said.

At the same time, net operational revenue from mobile communication services reached US$666 million in 2013 (+48%) and US$173 million in the fourth quarter of 2013 (+12%).

EBITDA (Earnings before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization) in Uzbekistan rose by 73% year-on-year – from US$253 million in 2012 to US$439 million in 2013 and by 18% to US$112 million in the fourth quarter of 2013.

EBITDA margin rose by 10.3 percentage points to 64.9% in 2013 and 3.5 percentage points to 63.8% in the fourth quarter of 2013.

Number of Beeline subscribers in Uzbekistan made up 10.5 million people in the end of the fourth quarter of 2013, which rose by 4% year-on-year.

ARPU (Monthly Average Revenue per User) fell by 5.6% to US$5 in the fourth quarter of 2013. MOU (Monthly Average Minutes of Use per User) fell from 516 minutes in the dourth quarter of 2012 to 493 minutes in the fourth quarter of 2013.

Beeline increased its capital expenses by 65% year-on-year to US$227 million in January-December 2013 and by 58% to US$69 million in the fourth quarter of 2013.

It is worth to mention that Beeline remains a largest mobile communication operator on number of subscribers and the volume of revenue in the result of 2013.
