The company said that revenues in the fourth quarter of 2017 reached 628 billion soums, which is 21.3% higher compared to the same period of 2016.
At the same time, the operator’s revenue in US dollars in 2017 was US$513 million, which is 22.6% lower compared to 2016. In the fourth quarter, revenue decreased by 52.9% to US$$78 million.
Revenues in the mobile services segment amounted to 2.32 trillion soums in 2017 (+ 18.9%) and 621 billion soums in the fourth quarter of 2017 (+ 20.8%).
Revenues from data transfer services in 2017 made up 585 billion soums (+29.4%) and in the fourth quarter of 2017 - 162 billion soums (+ 28.6%).
EBITDA (operating profit before depreciation of fixed assets, amortization of intangible assets and losses associated with depreciation of assets) in Uzbekistan in 2017 amounted to 1.1 trillion soums, which is 1.1% less than in the same period of 2016. In the fourth quarter, this indicator fell by 18.8% to 267 billion soums.
At the same time, the margins of operations decreased from 59.6% in 2016 to 49.5% in 2017. In the fourth quarter, this indicator fell from 63.5% to 42.5%.
According to the results of 2017, the subscriber base of Beeline in Uzbekistan totaled 9.7 million people, which is 1.9% more than in 2016. At the same time, data transfer services are used by 5 million people in 2017 against 4.6 million for the same period in 2016 (+ 10.1%).
Average bill for a mobile subscriber per month (ARPU) made up 21,672 soums in the fourth quarter of 2017, which is 20.9% more compared to the same period in 2016.
Indicator MOU (minutes of use) reached 574 minutes in the reporting period compared with 568 minutes in the same period of 2016 (+ 1.1%).
The use of data transfer per user has almost doubled in the fourth quarter of 2017 to 649 MB.
