Beeline’s net revenue in Uzbekistan hits US$73m in 3Q 2011
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Net operational revenue of VimpelCom in Uzbekistan made up US$73 million in the third quarter of 2011, which grew by 36% compared to the same period of 2010.

The company said that net operational revenue reached US$198 million in January-September 2011 against US$151 million in the same period of 2010. The growth rate made up 31%.

Corrected EBITDA (Earnings before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization) in Uzbekistan grew by 58% year-on-year from US$22 million to US$35 million. EBITDA margin rose by 6.6 percentage points to 47.3% in the third quarter of 2011.

Corrected EBITDA made up US$90 million in nine months of 2011 against US$62 million in the same period of 2010. The growth rate made up 46%. EBITDA margin grew by 4.5 percentage points to 45.4%.

The volume of capital investments exceeded US$68 million in the third quarter of 2011 (+202%) and US$134 million in January-September 2011 (+94%).

Number of mobile communication subscribers of Beeline in Uzbekistan reached 5.688 million at the end of the third quarter, which grew by 29% year-on-year.

ARPU (Monthly Average Revenue per User) grew by 2% compared to the third quarter of 2010 to US$4 in the reporting period.

MOU (Monthly Average Minutes of Use per User) made up 431 minutes in the third quarter of 2011 against 388 minutes in the same period of 2011 (+11%).
