Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Beeline Uzbekistan clients will gradually gain access to crystal-clear sound on smartphones across the country. The service is currently available in the city of Navoi and the Navoi region, as well as in Bukhara and the Bukhara region. VoLTE technology will be widespread by the end of the autumn.
VoLTE technology integrates voice communication and mobile internet in a revolutionary way. It is no longer required to leave the 4G/LTE network to talk to business partners, friends, and family because voice is packaged much like internet traffic. This allows the customers to have conversations without exiting the 4G/LTE network while also accessing the internet to instantly see photos online or check the meeting places on an online map. VoLTE subscribers are immediately connected, with no need to transfer the call to the GSM or UMTS networks.
Beeline Uzbekistan attempted to include all of its subscribers in the new technology by becoming among the first in the country to introduce VoLTE, targeting the Navoi region as one of the most rapidly developing economic regions of Uzbekistan, with key industries and the fastest LTE network. The digital operator is testing the equipment that has already been installed on the base stations. Shortly thereafter, one of Uzbekistan's largest cities, Bukhara, and the Bukhara region joined the VoLTE launch project. The network upgrade in this location was finished earlier this year, allowing for improved coverage and capacity of the 4G network.
The technology requires a smartphone with VoLTE capability and a compatible 4G SIM card (Usim or Esim). Generally, VoLTE will instantly begin working on the phones of digital operator subscribers; in other cases, the function must be manually enabled in the settings. Dialing any number will demonstrate whether the technology is functioning. The LTE or VoLTE icon should appear on the smartphone screen after connecting.
By the end of November, all Beeline customers in Uzbekistan will be able to completely surf on the 4G network during a call and enjoy the crystal clear sound of VoLTE.
"We continue to actively develop our network across the country, and the launch of VoLTE is intended to provide our customers with high-quality communication, making voice calls over the LTE network without switching communication standards and using all the possibilities of mobile internet, such as browsing social networks, checking email, and uploading and viewing photos and videos. We are confident that our customers will enjoy all the benefits of the new service," stated Dmitry Kazbanov, director of Beeline Uzbekistan's Southwest Regional Branch.
Together with the VoLTE technology, Beeline Uzbekistan has launched the ViLTE service (Video over LTE). ViLTE has several advantages over video call messengers, including faster and more reliable connection speed, higher video resolution, and convenience of use without the need to install additional applications.
You can check VoLTE support on your smartphone and learn more about activation methods on the website of the digital operator.
