Beeline Uzbekistan Helped 100 Teachers Master AI and Cyber Hygiene

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — 100 IT teachers from public and private schools in Tashkent completed advanced training courses on “Applications of Neural Networks and Artificial Intelligence” and “Cybersecurity and Cyber Hygiene.” This educational program for teachers was implemented at the Tashkent International University of Education (TIUE) in partnership with Beeline Uzbekistan.

In December 2024, 100 teachers from 77 public general education schools and 10 private schools in Tashkent were awarded certificates for successfully completing the courses. This educational program for teachers focuses on digital safety, neural networks, and AI. The courses were taught by experts from the Digital technologies and Artificial Intelligence research institute and "Kiberxavfsizlik” cybersecurity сenter.

The creation of a national pool of IT specialists should start in schools, according to representatives from the government, universities, and leading companies in the country. It will be up to teachers undergoing training through the joint program of TIUE and Beeline Uzbekistan to spark students' interest in cutting-edge technologies. In 2024, 110 teachers from Tashkent received their diplomas for completing the professional development program at Beeline Academy. They gained skills in Python programming, mastered 3D graphics tools, and learned the basics of Frontend development.

"The development strategy of our company, AI1440, like that of the entire digital economy of Uzbekistan, is based on young, talented specialists who will bring new ideas and meaning to the IT sector. This is why we collaborate with leading universities and schools, where the first interest in future professions is cultivated. I am confident that the graduates of this program will not only help form a new digital elite in the country – they will become part of our intellectual elite," said Andrey Pyatakhin, CEO of Beeline Uzbekistan.

Beeline Academy was opened in October 2023, based on the collaboration between Beeline Uzbekistan and Tashkent International University of Education (TIUE). The Academy offers young talents, teachers, and other IT professionals in Uzbekistan access to both online and offline training in information technology and cybersecurity, with the aim of preparing a workforce for various sectors of the country's economy. In 2023, the first certificates of professional development in cybersecurity were awarded to 50 grant competition winners from all over the country.
