Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Beeline Uzbekistan has expanded network coverage throughout the country. Since the beginning of the year, the digital operator has put into operation about 150 base stations (BS), providing subscribers with access to high-speed mobile Internet and services based on it.
The capital of the republic became the record holder for the number of new base stations - about 50 additional Beeline sites were built here in the first quarter of 2022. In second place is Ferghana region, where a little less than 30 fourth-generation BSs appeared. The third place was shared by Andijan and Tashkent regions, each of which launched almost 15 stations.
The expansion of the network was carried out not only in these territories. Making sure that modern digital services are available to all residents of the country, Beeline Uzbekistan is building base stations of the "high-speed" standard in all regions without exception.
“The statistics of new launches is explained by the population density in the regions of the country. So, Tashkent is the largest city not only in Uzbekistan, but throughout Central Asia, more than 2.7 million people live here. Not surprisingly, the capital accounted for a third of all new BSs. However, we plan to make 4G Internet available to every client. Development continues! - says the technical director of Beeline Uzbekistan Mahmudjon Nodyrov.
Thanks to a significant expansion of the network coverage area, more and more residents of the country can use digital services from Beeline: access government websites from smartphones to get information, watch videos online without downloading, use FinTech services for convenient cashless payments.
