According to the operator, 4G networks will be launched in Angren, Andijan, Bekabad, Bukhara, Gijduvan, Gulistan, Jizzakh, Zarafshan, Qarshi, Qoqand, Margilan, Navoi, Namangan, Nukus, Samarkand, Termez, Urgench, Ferghana, Khiva and Chirchiq.
Technical director of Unitel Evgeny Klyuchev said currently the capacity of international channel will make up 8Gbps and this is the highest figure among all mobile operators, which published information about this.
He said that the company plans to increase this figure in 2017 within the launch of new segments of 4G network.
Beeline noted that its capital expenses in Uzbekistan reached 533 billion soums in 2016 and large part of these investments were used to deploy LTE network in Tashkent.
Beeline also announced on launch of “4G for life” programme. The company said the users will receive free 4G internet.
Commercial director of Unitel Maxim Efremov said 4G will not be premium service any more for Beeline subscribers. He added that the operator presents several bonuses to the subscribers.
