UCG Shock 2010 Spring competition was organized by editorial board of infoCOM.UZ and SHOCK club. The competition united over 800 gamers. The competition started on 29 May and gamers competed on such games as FIFA 2010, WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne and NFS: MW. On 30 May, gamers determined the best player in Dota All Stars. Last weekends, the competition ended with Counter Strike 1.6.
Chairperson of the editorial board of infoCOM.UZ journal Aleksander Suchkov said the last day of the competition was good culmination for the championship. Over 70 teams from all regions of Uzbekistan participated in the event. Suchkov said JUST, StormMix and HP8 teams were the best in the competition.
Server Kerimov was named the best player of CS 1.6 and he received prize from Unitel, the operator said.
“Counter Strike 1.6 is not special game for UCG 2010 participants, but also for us. Beeline holds its annual tournament among subscribers to GolfSTREAM broadband internet. That’s why we supported initiative of the UzACI and infoCOM.UZ. We hope to continue to cooperate in future”, Oraz Abdurazakov, senior communications operator, said.
All winners received diplomas and prizes from the organizers, while Beeline presented special gifts to them.
