According to Vimpelcom Ltd, net operation of revenue of Beeline in Uzbekistan made up US$157 million in the first quarter of 2013, or grew by 100% compared to the same period of 2012 (from US$79 million).
Corrected EBITDA (Earnings before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization) in Uzbekistan rose by 192% in the first quarter compared to the same period of 2012- from US$35 million to US$102 million. EBIDTA margin rose by 20.6 percentage points year-on-year to 65.2%.
ARPU (Monthly Average Revenue per User) fell by 6% in January-March 2013 compared to previous quarter and rose by 43% to US$5 compared to the first quarter of 2012.
MOU (Monthly Average Minutes of Use per User) grew by 13% from 376 minutes in the first quarter of 2012 to 425 minutes in the first quarter of 2013.
The company said that its capital expanses exceeded US$59 million in the reporting period, which rose by 54% year-on-year.
